Features: Aka the Pirate ship playground! This is our family’s favorite and a place we visit every time we are in the area. Kids love that part of the playground is in the shape of a ship, there are two sand diggers, swings, a baseball diamond and so much more that will tire out even the most energic kids! Added bonus: Clean restrooms are right next door. There are also picnic tables, a baseball field and plenty of green space. If you have older kids bring a ball to toss around while the little ones play. Besides being an awsome park the location is close to so many walkable fun things including a coffee shop (Coffee Mill on the Water), a tasty lunch spot (Gordy’s Boat House), and walking distance to the Geneva Shore Path! After the park walk to Gordy’s for lunch and an adult beverage with a view of the lake or during summer grab an ice cream a block away at Gordy’s Surf Shack.
Features: This park in Williams bay is right on the lake, has access to clean restrooms in the public picnic shetler near by (where grilling is allowed), and is along the Geneva Shore Path. You are also walking distance to a tasy ice cream shop called the Frosty Moose (which has dairy free and glueton free options), or coffee shop called Plenty of green space so bring a ball to toss around for older kids. When you need a change of scenery take a short walk on the beach path, or even challenge yourself and walk all the way to one of my favorite restaurants, Pier 290 (this walk would be for older kids/teens and take about 20-30 minutes).
