Foley’s Irish Woods

I have heard how good Foley’s fish fry was so was so glad I finally got to try it. And YES it does live up to all the hype! Foley’s has HADDOCK filets that are thick and juicy and the beer batter made for some of the best flavored fish fry I have every had. You get 3 massive pieces of fish, plus large wedges and fried granny smith apples. The restaurant was also an unexpected surprise. You walk through a bar when you enter, and then you see a beautiful yert like space with high wood covered ceiling. We will definably be back and I highly suggest!
- Experience: Foley’s is a cozy local spot known for turning Haddock fillets into golden masterpieces. The fish is marinated in Harp Lager, hand-battered, and delicately fried to perfection.

Mars is a local fav for a reason. Nestled right on the shore of Lake Como they offer the Wednesday and Friday fish fry from 11am to close and are busy most of that time. I also love the fact you can get patato pancakes, fries or corn hush puppies with maple syrup đ Fair warning, go early if you don’t want a wait. I normally go for lunch since it is easy to get a table.
